Note: These two tools solve different problems — the dollar comparison here is for context only. HouseCall Pro is back-office (scheduling, invoicing, dispatching); Titan is front-of-funnel (getting the phone to ring, not missing the call). Many Titan clients also run HouseCall Pro and the bills add together rather than substituting.

When HouseCall Pro is
the better fit.

HouseCall Pro is the better choice for a different problem entirely. If your pain is "I am drowning in paperwork, my dispatch board is a mess, I can not collect payment in the field, my QuickBooks is two months behind" — that is HouseCall Pro's job, not ours. We make the phone ring more and not miss the call. They run the truck after the call is booked. Most healthy plumbing shops eventually need both. The right question is not "which one" — it is "which one first," and the answer depends on where the bigger leak is right now.

Where HouseCall Pro wins

  • · Scheduling and dispatching. HouseCall Pro is genuinely best-in-class here — calendar, drag-and-drop dispatch, technician routing. We do not do any of this.
  • · Invoicing and payments. Built-in card processing, recurring invoices, QuickBooks sync. We do not touch the money side.
  • · Customer records and job history. The CRM piece is mature — every customer, every job, every invoice in one place.
  • · Mobile app for technicians in the field. Real and useful — techs check in, mark jobs complete, collect payment from the truck.
  • · Industry standard at scale. If you grow past 5 trucks, HouseCall Pro (or ServiceTitan) is what you will end up running anyway.

Where we win
vs HouseCall Pro.

We get the phone to ring. HouseCall Pro is a back-office tool — once a customer calls, it manages the job. It does not bring new callers in.

Missed-call text-back is core to Lead Recovery tier. HouseCall Pro does not handle inbound call routing or missed-call SMS by default.

A site that ranks. HouseCall Pro does not build sites — you bring your own (or do not have one).

Plumbing-specific copy, templates, and review prompts. HouseCall Pro is built generically for all trades.

Done-for-you. HouseCall Pro is software you log into and run — the dispatch board is yours to manage.

What 90 Days
Actually Looks Like.

Lead Recovery client. 3-truck plumbing shop in Frisco, TX. Owner-operator running $34k/month before we came in.

Client Quote
"I was losing 8 calls a week and didn't even know it. Within a month, those calls were turning into booked jobs. The review automation alone added 40+ Google reviews — I went from 3.2 to 4.7 stars. My competitors have no idea why I'm suddenly ranking above them."

FAQ

Titan vs HouseCall Pro,
questions.

Should I pick HouseCall Pro OR Titan?

Honest answer: in most cases, both — eventually. They solve different problems. HouseCall Pro is your back office (scheduling, dispatching, invoicing). Titan is your front of funnel (the site that ranks, the missed-call text-back, the review automation). The right question is which one fixes the bigger leak first. If your dispatch board is broken, start with HouseCall. If your phone is ringing into voicemail, start with us.

Does Titan integrate with HouseCall Pro?

Yes — when a lead comes in through our missed-call recovery flow or our review-driven site, the booking can be pushed into HouseCall Pro via Zapier or n8n so your dispatch board has the job. We do not replace HouseCall Pro; we feed it.

Does HouseCall Pro replace what Titan does?

Not really. HouseCall Pro has add-ons for marketing — review collection, text marketing, lead capture forms — but those are side modules, not the core product. The core product is excellent for managing the truck once a job is booked. The marketing add-ons are not purpose-built for missed-call recovery the way our system is.

I already use HouseCall Pro. What does Titan add?

Three things HouseCall does not do well: (1) a site built to rank for plumbing keywords in your city, (2) instant SMS to every missed call within seconds, (3) an AI phone agent that answers after-hours and on weekends. If your dispatching is solid but your phone is still going to voicemail and your reviews are stuck under 50, Titan plugs that gap.

What if I am brand new and have neither?

Start with the leak that is bleeding faster. Most 1–3 truck owners we talk to have functional invoicing (paper or QuickBooks) and a dispatch process that works. The leak is the missed calls and the website that nobody finds. That is where Lead Recovery tier earns its keep — Rivera Plumbing in Frisco recaptured $10,880/mo this way against $497/mo. Add HouseCall Pro later when scheduling complexity demands it.
